Are You Ready?

The Fifth Avenue Hotel, December 2025. The work was done on location in a room overlooking Manhattan and back in the studio, post-stay. These drawings and paintings mark the first chapter in the ongoing series of Private Interiors. Each drawing is a snapshot in ink, charcoal or watercolor on paper, and acts as a way to imprint sensation and memory onto a tangible object. The paintings are the result of deeper meditation on the subjects and the setting.
